Going The Extra Mile: When It Really Matters
When it comes to events, timing is everything and sometimes, even the best-laid plans need a backup.
One of our clients was preparing for a high-stakes trade expo in Wellington. With just a day to spare, their booth panels and branded materials had been printed and sent directly to the venue.
Everything appeared to be on track.
But as it turned out, things weren’t quite where they needed to be.
The day before the expo, tracking revealed that the entire shipment was still sitting in a courier depot in Auckland, delayed in the network and nowhere near Wellington. With the event fast approaching, the risk of showing up unprepared became very real.
That’s when Malcove stepped in.
Without hesitation, our team collected the delayed packages directly from the depot and personally drove them from Auckland to Wellington that same day. No waiting, no outsourcing, just a clear focus on getting the job done.
With the expo set to open at 8:00 am the following morning, the next step was just as critical. One of our experienced assemblers met the driver in central Wellington at 6:00 pm. Together, they worked efficiently to have the entire booth installed and ready by 7:00 pm.
What could have been a stressful, last-minute scramble became a smooth and controlled setup, giving our client the time and confidence to walk into the expo fully prepared.
One crisis averted. One very relieved client.
It’s just another example of the extra steps we’re willing to take to make sure everything runs as it should, no matter the challenge.
